JERUSALEM, IL / ACCESS Newswire / September 18, 2025 / In a special moment at this week's Jerusalem Post Diplomatic Summit, Dr. Mike Evans, founder of Jerusalem's Friends of Zion Heritage Center, announced the creation of The Charlie Kirk Award - a new annual honor recognizing young leaders who exemplify moral courage and steadfast support for Israel.

"Charlie Kirk was a lion-hearted friend of Israel who courageously spoke out against antisemitism and defended the Jewish people," said Evans. "This is our way of ensuring his legacy lives on."

Joined by foreign ambassadors, Israeli officials, Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, Dr. Evans announced the new award will be presented this December at the Ambassador Summit in Jerusalem, where 1,000 of America's leading pastors will convene in solidarity with Israel.

"Charlie Kirk's battle is Israel's battle," said Dr. Evans. "Where physical threats aim to destroy life, false ideological intimidation seeks to dismantle truth, which can destroy the soul. Charlie Kirk fought both battles with firm conviction - a confident belief embodied by both Israel and America. His legacy is one of bold conviction and unwavering love for this nation."

Ambassador Mike Huckabee praised the new annual honor, calling it "a blessed and important tribute to a young man who has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel."

Public nominations are now open. To propose a potential candidate who reflects Charlie Kirk's values and vision, please visit kirkaward.com or scan the QR code to submit recommendations.
