Rod, a proud member of the Otipemisiwak Nation within Alberta, brings over two decades of experience in Indigenous economic development, strategic partnerships, and leadership to the role. His appointment marks a significant step forward in The Connect Partnership’s Group’s mission to advance Indigenous prosperity through economic reconciliation and workforce inclusion.

As a Métis professional, Rod brings a deeply personal perspective to his leadership role, informed by his heritage and lived experience. His understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Indigenous communities, combined with his extensive background in fostering meaningful partnerships, uniquely positions him to lead The Connect Partnership Group into its next chapter.
